he old, corrupt Prime Minister Wolsey has been brought down, much to the delight of the other races. Although, there is always someone worse. Zathrian Petrov, head of the Secret Police and a Special himself, rose to power, gaining support from those like him. Simon Wolsey's own plan to create himself a powerful Cyborg army backfires, and he is turned into one himself--becoming a shell of a human being, a fate worse than death.
The masses were deceived and Zathrian proved himself to be a bloodthirsty psychopath with a penchant for massacres. He utilizes the recently developed cure for Vampirism as weapon to take down those that cross him--much as his predecessor had done. And, having Wolsey as the prototype for his own personal security force, along with a symbol to all that would threaten him, he perfected the art of mind control. He began a lottery—each year he would pick citizens at random and convert them. He had no reason, besides his lust for pain and suffering. It seemed impossible, but Zathrian felt less mercy than even Simon Wolsey ever had.
His reign of terror is one that will go down as one of the darkest times in all of the capitol’s rather murky history. After slaughtering hundreds, thousands, of people, the entire capitol was in discontent. Many bound together—enemies and friends alike—and Zathrian Petrov was hanged in the middle of the city, a spectacle for all to behold in relief.
Now, the capitol has no ruler. A makeshift committee has formed, but the people demand an election—they do not want their freedom to be stripped from them yet again. And so, a campaign they shall have. But, will the next ruler prove to be any better, or will the treachery never cease?
